#GivingTuesday kicked off in 2012 and since then, has become synonymous with people giving back. A global generosity movement, #GivingTuesday—November 30th —inspires people to
give, and celebrate generosity as a community.
Here at Stageworks Theatre, an incredibly small percentage of our costs are covered by ticket sales. It is through the support of generous individuals and companies that we can maintain artistic quality while keeping our ticket prices affordable, produce high-caliber shows, offer educational opportunities for children and teens in our community, as well as nurture developing theatre professionals from Houston and beyond. Without our amazing supporters, Stageworks would not be the success that it is. As we head into our 17th season, we recognize that our community is truly special, and we thank you all for helping us grow into the stellar organization we have become.
#GivingTuesday affords us all the opportunity to not only highlight the importance of donations but also to support one another in the rewarding work that we do.
