The Shining Stars Guild

The Shining Stars Guild, a volunteer non-profit organization, promotes theatre arts education by supporting the educational programs and productions of area theatres, and has raised over $400,000 for this effort. The Guild nurtures the appreciation of theatre arts and cultivates community support for the growth of theatre audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Dr. Mario & Lisa Garza & Steeplechase Pediatric Center

Mario and Lisa Garza have served on the Board of Directors since the theatre's inception in 2006. Lisa has an extensive background in community and church-based theatre including design credits with several local theatres. She served as Artistic Director in 2015 - 2016 and as Assistant Artistic Director for HFAC 2011-2015, in addition to serving as a Technical Director at Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball. Mario is a busy pediatrician, partner in a continually expanding practice for over 25 years. He also serves as Chairman of Pediatrics at North Cypress Medical Center. They have been married for 34 years and have two daughters and a pile of grandchildren.

The Wortham Foundation is an independent non-profit foundation based in Houston, Texas. Established in 1961, the foundation focuses on areas such as arts, environment, beautification programs, historical societies, and museums. The assets of the foundation are managed by the board of trustees.

The mission of the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) is to advance our state economically and culturally by investing in a creative Texas.
