Marketing Program Manager

The Marketing Program Manager ensures that Stageworks Theatre is vibrantly and effectively promoting information about our upcoming shows, classes, and other theatre information via social media and email.

 

Responsibilities

This position will promote items from our Content Calendar, which will be populated by the Theater Administrator and Board members routinely, as needed. From this list, the Marketing Programs Manager will execute the following, utilizing our directed tools and software.

 

Social Media

Curate and schedule the following for both mainstage and academy:

  • Instagram: Post 3 - 5 times per week

  • Instagram Stories: Post 3 - 5 times per week

  • Facebook: Post 3 - 5 times per week

  • Instagram and Facebook paid marketing campaigns as approved by the Board President

 

Email

Execute weekly emails:

  • 1 per week for Main Stage

  • 1 per week for Academy

  • Press Releases as created/needed

  • Content will come from Board members and Artistic Director

 

Qualifications

The Marketing Programs Manager must be self-directed and must be able to stay motivated, focused and strong enough to ask for what is needed. The position will report to a Board Vice President, who serves as a volunteer. The Marketing Programs Manager must have the following qualifications:

 

  • Strong business writing skills with at least one year of experience writing for a business voice. (Social media and online writing samples required)

  • Experience in a theatre setting with an understanding of industry vernacular

  • 1+ year experience promoting a business on social media
