Skills Training: 2nd - 4th Graders
Skills classes are offered in 8-week sessions. This spring, Session 1 is from January 21 - March 11. Session 2 is from March 18 - May 6.
Student need not have attended Session 1 to attend Session 2.
SESSION 2 (Starts March 18)
Saturdays, March 18-May 6, 9am-10am
This beginner to intermediate dance class focuses on foundation techniques of jazz and ballet. Each class will work various dance styles and combinations found in musical theatre and popular music. An informal showcase will occur on the final day of class.

Saturdays, March 18 - May 6, 10:15-11:15am
This essential acting class focuses on understanding key theatrical and storytelling terminology while improving motor and executive function. Students learn to dissect and interpret story elements, and investigate how movement and voice are incorporated into dramatic work. An informal showcase will take place on the final day of class.

Saturdays, March 18 - May 6, 11:30-12:30pm
This class will elaborate on proper vocal technique, and introduce music theory while learning to use their voice to embody a musical character. Students will learn to identify notes, rhythms, and standard song structure while belting out their favorite music of stage and screen. Each session features different songs and is designed to be taken multiple times. An informal showcase will occur on the final day of class.
