Courtney Johnson is an award-winning communications and public relations veteran by day, with extensive internal and external communications, training, and management expertise. All other times, Courtney is a volunteer Board Member who sits on the Marketing and Fundraising Committees. When not volunteering for Stageworks, Courtney loves spending time with her theatre-loving family.

Associated with Stageworks Theatre since 2013, Courtney is a firm believer that it takes a great team of players working together to make the magic happen on stage. In fact, for Courtney, there aren’t many tasks that she hasn’t attempted to help her community theatre – from assisting with emails, letters, and press releases to painting stage pieces, gathering costumes, and assisting backstage for Academy productions. She's often spotted backstage in our Acting Academy where she’s supported the costume changes and set changes, including Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr. Annie, Jr., Disney’s The Lion King, Jr., Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr., Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, Jr., Honk! Jr., and much more. Courtney also has been spotted as an ensemble member in the Main Stage production of A Christmas Carol, the Musical.
