Greetings!
Nov 20 - Dec 20, 2020
By Tom Dudzik at Stageworks Theatre on the Garza Mainstage.
Andy has a sweet Catholic mother, a sour Catholic father, and an intellectually disabled younger brother named Mickey. When he brings his Jewish atheist fiancé to meet the folks on Christmas Eve, his worst fears about family blow-ups are realized. But when Mickey, whose entire vocabulary has been limited to “oh boy” and “wow,” suddenly spouts the word “Greetings!” the entire family’s belief system is turned upside down. For it seems an ancient, wise and witty spirit who is set upon healing the family’s wounds has borrowed Mickey’s body!
In order to safely accommodate all patrons in attendance, your seat location is subject to change at the discretion of the ushers and box office.
Best for ages 10+, but must be at least 3 years of age to be admitted and all must have a ticket.

Taming of the Shrew (Student Academy Production)
Jan 29 - 31, 2021
Our teen actors love Shakespeare and have a little fun with it. Come see our students, ages 12-19 shake things up with the shrew!
In Padua, young Bianca Minola has found true love and is ready to marry. But there’s a problem: her father Baptista has a rule that Katherine - his eldest daughter and Bianca’s big sister - must marry first. And THAT problem has a problem: Kate wants nothing to do with marriage. Enter Petruchio, an eligible bachelor looking to marry into wealth. Can Bianca get Petruchio to woo her sister so that there can be a happy ending for all? Though “Shrew” on its surface presents a 16th-century view of gender roles, this production will present a unique take that is guaranteed to entertain and educate students and audiences alike. Academy students ages 12-19 will cut, edit, style, and dive into William Shakespeare's timeless comedy and challenge what its roles and rules mean.
Best for ages 3 + but all patrons (of any age) must have a ticket.
