Celeste Hendrickson balances her time between several jobs as an entrepreneur and small business owner of an organic airbrush tanning salon and a bookkeeping practice. She is also devoted to her love for the performing arts and utilizes her accounting knowledge in culmination with her degree in Vocal Performance and her families’ musical background to assist the Stageworks Board of Director’s in guiding the organization to new heights.
Celeste found her love for music and performing at the age of five and studied piano with her father who was a world class pianist as well as took voice from her mother, an admired opera singer. She attended Houston Baptist University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Vocal Performance. She found Stageworks Theatre in the summer of 2016 when her college colleague brought her to see The Producers. She was hooked and quickly auditioned and starred in her first Stageworks production of The Wizard of Oz as Glinda in the summer of 2017. Since then, she has been several productions on the main stage and has served as a Producer and Stage Manager to grow her knowledge and theatre resume. Her favorite roles include Madame de la Grande Bouche, Beauty and the Beast and Allison in Beehive, the 60’s Musical.
In December 2017, Celeste joined the Executive Board as Treasurer. She quickly learned just how much goes in to running an arts organization. Celeste is committed to the success of the Academy and the main stage and is honored to be a part of an amazing crew of volunteers and staff. It truly takes an army of steadfast, passionate individuals who love the arts to be able to create the beautiful quality productions that the community has grown to expect from Stageworks Theatre. She truly considers Stageworks to be her home away from home and is dedicated to seeing the Theatre continue to thrive and provide the community with an outlet to create, learn, and build essential skills amongst the performers of tomorrow.
