Kiss Me Kate to Hamilton! Virtual Course


Week One - TOO DARN HOT!
Learn the ensemble choreography from the Kiss Me Kate number made famous on the 2019 Tony Awards show from a show cast member. It's not as hard as it looks!

Week Two - FOSSE

Who loves the dancing in Cabaret, Chicago, Sweet Charity, Pippin, and Damn Yankees!? Dive head-first into full-on Dance Legend, Bob Fosse, with this Broadway Styles Edition class. Dancing to a number from Fosse the Musical, you'll dance his unique style packed with traditional Fosse moves. 



Who loves Hamilton? Andy Blankenbuehler is a living legend who we are still learning and experiencing with every new show he creates. This session will focus on his style, incorporating modern moves and hip-hop.

Each class is 90 minutes long plus a short question and answer period with Sarah. Whether you're trying to brush up on dance audition skills or you're looking to have a fun summer workout, join us!

Flex your dance muscle this summer with Broadway artist, Sarah Meahl.

Each week Sarah will bring you a new style of musical theater dance and teach a combination from that genre. This is a great course to practice learning dance combinations and gain exposure to specific choreographer's styles.


This class is a MUST for any performing arts student ages 10 - 111! Material is targeted to a "mover" level; you need not be a hard-core dancer to enjoy and learn from this series.

About Sarah Meahl

You saw Sarah last summer, when the impeccable chorus of Kiss Me, Kate! performed on the Tony Awards. Her Broadway credits additionally include Hello, Dolly! and Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour. Off Broadway she's performed in Standard Time (The Duke), The Golden Apple (Encores!), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Minskoff). Pre-Broadway Labs: The Music Man, The Secret Garden, Anastasia, Clueless. Regional: Papermill Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, Broadway Sacramento, TUTS, TOTS, The MUNY, KC Starlight, The Old Globe, D.C. Shakespeare and Walnut Street Theatre. TV/Film: Haunting Evidence, Isn’t It Romantic? 

Sarah teaches Dance and Musical Theatre for a dozen theatre companies in NYC and virtually around the U.S. This versatile teacher taught Broadway-bound youth, young adults preparing for musical theatre programs, baby ballet, as well as gymnastics classes. She judged many dance competitions, and set choreography for theatre showcases and dance competitions! She's worked with all levels and loves breaking complex-looking choreography into simple moves. She believes we ALL can dance!
