AUDITION WORKSHOP

Stageworks is hosting an Audition Workshop to help our young actors prepare for auditioning on the main stage. With a little bit of "virtual" time on our hands, now is the best time to sharpen your skills.

Sam Brown, Director

Dru Wiser, Choreographer

During the workshop, individuals will

  • Shake off some nerves!

  • Practice the basics of audition etiquette.

  • Take part in a 'mock audition' to perfect the tools of your craft.

  • Participants will work one-on-one with our creative team on their song, and receive suggested adjustments.

Ages: 8 -17

Date:  Saturday, July 11, 2020

Time: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

MATILDA NOT REQUIRED

This workshop is inspired by our potential upcoming production of Matilda, but student, nor parent need to be auditioning for that upcoming show to participate. These sessions will be a great opportunity to hone audition skills, whether for Matilda or any show!

PLEASE NOTE

Participation in this Audition Workshop does NOT guarantee a role in Stageworks Theatre’s Main Stage production of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, but it does teach invaluable auditioning skills that can be used in future productions.
