En Garde! A Stage Combat Intensive, Ages 10 - 15
July 25 - 29, 9:00am - Noon
$210 + $35 registration fee
Have you ever wondered how the fight scenes are choreographed in film and theater? Would you like to know the secrets of hand to hand for theatrical staging? This course will teach you the many ins and outs of stage combat. From swords, to hand to hand, to falls and slaps, this is sure to be a fun (and safe) class!
The Acting Studio, Ages 7 - 13
July 11 - 15, 1:30pm - 5:00pm
$220 + $35 registration fee
If registering for both Acting Studio and Gotta Dance, $390 total plus one $35 registration fee
Students learn the fundamentals of acting in a fun, supportive and creative atmosphere. Through theatre games and improvisation, students concentrate on the basics of acting: the who, where, why and how. Students will then apply these concepts to basic scene work. The last day of class includes a "showcase" for family and friends.
Gotta Dance Ages 7 - 13
July 18 - 22, 1:30pm - 5:00pm
$220 + $35 registration fee
If registering for both Acting Studio and Gotta Dance, $390 total plus one $35 registration fee
Students will explore various dance forms; learning how to tell a story through movement and execute choreography of all levels. Throughout the week, students will experience new choreography, dance styles and make exciting additions to their personal dance repertoire.
Musical Theatre Summer Intensive, Ages 12 - 18
June 27 - July 8, 9:00am - 12:30pm
No class on July 4
$370 + $35 registration fee
Refine your talent in this rigorous two week course with professional-level training in voice, dance, acting, and audition techniques. Students will work on becoming true theatrical "triple threats" during this intensive. The program will culminate in a final performance open to family and friends.
